As usual, the expectation for Mariah Carey's album is sky high and as expected her debut got into No. 1 in the Billboard 200 with 463,000 copies sold. My first impression when i start listening to the album was the "slutty" Mariah Carey is back with her "slutty/sexually playful" songs but it changed dramatically after the second song when she experiment with a bit of reggae beat feat Damien Marley in "Cruise Control". After that comes my personal fav,"I Stay In Love" and i thought..hey this is getting much much better as it goes on and true enough it gets better. Then came some of the meaningful songs namely "bye bye"a memorial for a lost loved one and capping the album off with Bible-quoting, upright-piano gospel "I Wish You Well".

My disappointment was that she didn't really display her vocal ability but don't get me wrong she still goes for the glass breaking high pitch but nothing compared to "Mine again" from her previous album "The Emancipation of Mimi". Nevertheless we couldn't demand more from this diva on her 6th No.1 album. A very good achievement as she is tied to the likes of Madonna and Janet Jackson in the U.S . Catch her next single "Love Story" which is coming out soon

The Verdict: If you don't have extra cash to purchase this album then i would recommend you to not buy as it is not really a great album but if you still want it, Download it.

My Rating: 7/10 it's not great but overall it is still a good album.

Last but not least let me leave you with her 2nd single,a very nice&meaningful song "Bye Bye"

Virus Alert:WIN32/Adware.Virtumonde

Recently i hv seen(and experienced) a soaring amount of PCs infected with Virtumonde virus also known as Vundo.i suspect that i got it from bitcomet(no offence to bitcomet if it's not them)well...basicly it will try to install some BHO to my explorer.exe. It was detected to try and attack my computer again but this time i'm smart enough to deny its installation. It will try to give you popups in your computer to buy certain programs but BEWARE,IT IS A SCAM and it will slow your surfing to a crawl...it will make things worst if you "buy" it. I'm pretty sure my friends won't buy it anyway not that they are smart but they are just to poor to buy it. :)

I've have done some intensive research on this virus and pls do inform me if you need help. I mite not have the knowledge to help you directly but i know where you can cure it. Again, i would like to stress to all that it is important to make sure you Windows XP or Vista are fully updated as well as your Antivirus and Firewall. Antivirus software does detect the virus but it has yet to fully "immune" itself from it yet. Even the "best fix" fix around can't fully clean it or can't detect it at all as the virus has this ability to come in different file names. I've already linked the Fix with is called VundoFix on my "Virus cleaners that you should have with you" corner. Pls help yourself with it. If problem persist,pls do inform me and i will tell you what to do next.

Brief Description

Virtumonde is a spyware program that creates a DLL (Dynamic Link Library), which logs keystrokes and connects
to a certain web page, in order to obtain miscellaneous information and display
advertising messages periodically.
Virtumonde connects the DLL it creates to
the system process explorer.exe. By doing this, it goes memory resident, and checks if Virtumonde is currently running. If
not, Virtumonde is launched again.
Additionally, Virtumonde registers itself
as LSP (Layered Service Provider), in order to harvest users' information about
their connection, such as Internet usage, pages viewed, phone connection
details, inventory of the applications installed in the computer, etc.
Spyware can be installed with the user consent and awareness, but sometimes
it is not. The same happens with the knowledge or lack of knowledge regarding
data collected and the way it is used.

Note:LSP (Layered Service
Provider) is a Windows feature that allows to specify a number of programs, in
order to process all the TCP/IP traffic taking place between Internet and the
applications that are accessing Internet (such as the web browser, the email
client, etc.).
For example, it could be specified a computer security
program, which analyses the traffic in search for viruses or other threats
before transferring it to the final application of the traffic.
However,
this structure can also be used by adware and spyware programs, in order to intercept the
communication across the Internet, and, what is worse, if they are deleted
without taking precautions, the Internet connection will stop working
indefinitely.

Again, I would like to remind you that nobody is safe in the Cyber world even surfing a blog can get you some nasty virus or keyloggers so pls do practice safe surfing and don't allow installation of files when you are not installing anything. Also pls don't accept any files/"so called your pictures" with the extentioon .exe behind in your MSN/Windows Live Messenger.Be it your best friend who send you this or someone who you trust, ask them again what is the file before accepting. Album Review: On My Way Here- Clay Aiken

I can say it daringly I didn't really like Clay Aiken before but after i tried this album, I must say I'm very much amazed with this album. As usual his vocal ability is fantastic let alone his voice control is good. The first song of the album, On My Way Here caught me by surprise as how I’m about to “rate” this album. As usual, me being a big critic of how singers should sound like, Clay is proving it again why he was runners up in Idol season 2. Good song arrangements. My personal favourite “The real me” is a very easy to listen to and its very nice. Other songs that are worth a mention are “sacrificial love”, “something about us” and...oh well...I think all of them are great. It’s a must get if you love his previous album or you are a fan of ballad. Do him some justice, I think he is not getting the attention he deserves for this album. I didn’t know about this new release until I bumped into it while surfing wildly for new songs.

The verdict: I would say I will get my friends to get his album. I think the songs will "melt" the girls to the floor.

My Rating:I think he deserves a 8/10 with so many nice songs packed in 1 album. Definitely a must get.

Well, this show started abit different or probably something we dont expect. Kate(Eva langoria) dies from a rather freakish accident with some "funky" music.That is how the story starts. Her husband(or husband to be) was still very sad over her death even after a year, so the sister decided to get him to see a pyshic Ashley(Lake Bell) even though he is sceptical over it but...decided to carry on.So that is how Kate comes into the human world thinking that her job is to protect her fiancee. While "helping" Henry(Paul Rudd) seek his dead fiancee,Ashley falls in love with henry and Kate starts to make Ashley's life a living hell.Until 1 day when she finally finds out that she wants Henry to be happy so...(you finish it)

The good: Well i think the thing that makes this movie "watchable" is the cast.Eva looking fantastic in a white dress. Besides that it is a rather "tame" show.

The bad: i think Eva looks abit yellowish in her yellow dress with her yellowish brown hair..get the picture? Visuals are just ok,jokes are just so-so.

My rating:6/10
Its not a must see but if you seek to have a romantic comedy with loads of laughter well you might be disappointed but all in all...it's still ok. Enjoy

Guess ppl who knows me by blogging gave up that i will return to blogs.Well, i'm finally returning to the bloggersphere.

Here's the first post :). Well for starters, there might be some changes to the template as i will eventually add more and more stuff into this blog but for starters... I think this is cool.

Well, first and foremost, let me honour a person whom really open my heart and gave me a new insight of the opposition http://mrmanager.blogspot.com/2008/05/have-you-seen-chief-minister-sit-in.html . YAB Lim, when you took over i was very sceptical of how you can put your words into work but i guess you prove me wrong and i'm very sure that you have already won 70% of the hearts of Penangites with your "Lead by example" attitude. Unlike our "beloved" prime minister n his deputy who spends RM790,000 on flights ALONE between Feb 24 and March 7 2008.
